Honor 30S launched with Kirin 820 5G SoC and 64 MP rear camera
Huawei sub-brand Honor launched Honor 30S in China. Honor 30S is the first 30 series device and the first 5G smartphone launch by the company launch in 2020. It is powered by the latest Kirin 820 5G SoC which has dual-mode 5G support. The phone also has a dual-SIM(Nano) setup and a 64-MP AI quad-camera.
Honor 30S Price:
The phone will be available in 2 variants. The base model 8GB+12GB priced at CNY 2,399 (Almost Rs. 25,500) while 8GB+256GB version will cost you CNY 2,699(Almost Rs. 29,000). It will be available in three color options such as black, green, and white.
Honor 30S Specifications:
Honor 30S features a 6.5-inch FHD+IPS display with 90.3% screen to body ratio and supports 96% NTSC color gamut. The phone runs on Android 10 but depends on Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) core, So Google services like Google Play store is not available.
The phone is powered by Kirin 820 5G chipset, which is based on 7nm architecture and has four ARM Cortex A76 big cores and four ARM Cortex A55 little cores. Out of four A76 core, one A76 core clocked at 2.36GHz and the other three A76 core clocked at 2.22GHz. While four small A55 cores clocked at 1.84GHz. Kirin 820 has Mali G57 Hexa core GPU to handle the graphics and intensive gaming tasks.
In terms of camera, Honor 30S has a Quad camera setup in the rear. It has a 64MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide camera, another 8MP telephoto camera, and one 2 MP micro camera. There is also a 16MP selfie camera on the front. Kirin 820 has ISP 5.0 image processor, which brings advanced noise reduction, low light shooting capabilities, and 60fps 4K video capture.
The phone has a 4000mAh battery with 40W fast charging support. it has dual-mode 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac in terms of connectivity. There is a side-mounted finger sensor for authentication.
